Allow your pupils to become actors in history
From April to June and again from September to November, we welcome pupils from preschool classes, primary classes and junior high school for a fascinating, informative, fun, interactive visit. We provide teachers with an educational booklet which acts as a support to the visit. Depending on your timetable, various activities can be planned for your visit. A special spot will be reserved for your group so you can picnic safely on site. Costumes can be borrowed to create a memorable class photo. For further information, feel free to contact us by phone or email.

Suggested program :
Full and half-day activities are available. After putting on their costume, the pupils can discover the castle and its grounds with the help of the information booklet (download BELOW). A picnic area is available for lunch. The afternoon is devoted to puzzles and games in small groups. If your group is very large, it is possible that one half will dress up in costumes in the morning and the other half in the afternoon.

Educational Booklets :
Allow the pupils to become the actors of their visit. On this page you will find a selection of booklets to be downloaded. Each booklet is adapted to a specific level: preschool (coming soon), lower primary (CP, CE1, CE2), upper primary (CM1, CM2) and junior high school (coming soon). The aim of the educational booklet is to assist the teacher in preparing for the visit; it includes background information and the updated version of the site map. The pupil’s booklet is a document to be filled in by the pupil during the visit. The preschool booklet does not require filling in.

Infos pratiques :
The castle offers several suitable rest areas. Buses are invited to enter the carpark by the entrance reserved for them. On arrival, children can put their backpacks and lunchboxes/coolers in the large room reserved for groups. This room can also serve as a canteen in the event of bad weather. In warm weather, a large canopy is made available to school groups so they can enjoy lunch in the shade. |
