It belongs to one of the most powerful families in Poitou, which owes its fame and wealth to a protective fairy : The fairy Mélusine.

Mélusine is a legendary figure from medieval mythology, often described as a fairy or magical creature. Her story, which dates back to the Middle Ages, evokes themes of transformation, mystery and despair, capturing the imagination of readers across the centuries.

We'll tell you the story of his life through twenty or so panels along a shady path. You'll meet its sons, who will challenge you to a dozen or so games !

You can finish your walk by placing your wishes in Mélusine's magic tree.

Put on your costume and, armed with a riddle game for the kids and a quiz for the adults, set off on an assault on our listed fortified castle and its 15-hectare park.
From the top of the ramparts, admire our collection of military equipment and our castle motte (site) with its fort dating from the year 1,000 ! Activities for the whole family: over 40 games for children and adults alike can be enjoyed over the 15 hectares of the castle grounds. Finally, the barefoot trail, the legend of the fairy Mélusine and her wishing tree. The orienteering race, the labyrinth and the musical forest will lead you to the discovery of large protected naturel areas.
